Commission adopts new implementing measures

From 1 January 2010, the new "VAT Package" enters into force across the EU, including new provisions which will see VAT for business-to-business services paid in the country of consumption rather than the country where the supplier is located.

The Federation of European Movers Associations (FEDEMAC) e.V. elected Arnaldo Righetti as their new President at the General Assembly on 21 November 2009 in Brussels, Belgium. Righetti, from Italy, succeeds Lucien Pot who has just completed a 3-year presidential term. Pot, from The Netherlands, will continue to serve on the FEDEMAC Board.
