The BAR has nearly 650 member companies in the UK. Its activities are divided into a number of specialist groups. The national body represents the entire professional moving and storage industry. It is headed up by a Board of Management to which a number of committees and councils report. The day to day management of the BAR is handled by a permanent secretariat.
